Visit Paleokastritsa, one of Corfu’s most impressive coastal areas, known for its dramatic seascapes and crystal-clear waters, where you will explore the Monastery of the Virgin Mary and admire a collection of Byzantine and post-Byzantine icons, along with important artefacts of the Greek Orthodox Church. The route continues to the village of Lakones, located just above Paleokastritsa, a traditional settlement that preserves its historic character with stone houses dating back to the 18th and 19th century, leading to the well-known Bella Vista viewpoint, offering some of the most panoramic views over the coastline. The experience concludes in Corfu Town, where you can visit the Old Fortress, see the Church of Saint Spyridon, one of the island’s most significant landmarks, walk through the narrow streets known as “kandounia”, and pass through Liston Square and the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, while also having the opportunity for coffee, shopping, museum visits, or local dining.
