First stop is Paleokastritsa, one of Corfu’s most captivating coastal landscapes, where deep blue waters meet dramatic bays and green hillsides, and where you will visit the Monastery of the Virgin Mary, set above the beach and still inhabited by a small community of monks, featuring a small museum with a refined collection of Byzantine and post-Byzantine icons, while its gardens offer a calm setting with open views over the coastline. The route then leads uphill to the village of Lakones, a traditional settlement that has preserved its authentic character with stone houses from the 18th and 19th century, reached through a narrow winding road that gradually reveals panoramic views over Paleokastritsa and its bays, with the area widely known as Bella Vista for its exceptional viewpoint, considered among the most impressive on the island. The experience concludes in Kassiopi, a picturesque village in the north-east of Corfu, set beneath Mount Pantokrator and surrounded by lush green hills, where you arrive through scenic roads and reach its harbour, the focal point of the village, lined with cafés and restaurants serving fresh fish, offering uninterrupted views across the sea towards the Albanian coastline, creating a relaxed and memorable ending to the route.
