Azure Depths

This full-day sea journey unfolds across Paxos and Antipaxos, tracing a route shaped by calm waters, sculpted coastlines, and villages that move at an unhurried pace. As the islands slowly emerge from the Ionian, the experience begins along the northern edge of Paxos, arriving at the sheltered harbor of Lakka. Defined by colorful houses and a quiet waterfront, the village offers a gentle introduction to island life — time to walk along the harbor, observe daily rhythms, and ease into the character of the place.

Following the coastline southward, the route continues along the western side of Paxos toward the Blue Caves. Here, rock formations open directly into the sea, and deep shades of blue gather beneath the cliffs as light shifts across the water. This stretch of coast is marked by contrast and texture, creating one of the island’s most visually striking passages. From here, the journey turns toward Antipaxos, reaching the area around Voutoumi Beach, where pale sand and transparent waters define the setting. Time is left open to swim, snorkel, or remain on board, surrounded by open sea and soft light.

Midway through the day, the experience moves ashore at either Gaios or Loggos, the main coastal settlements of Paxos. Stone-paved paths, small harbors, and waterfront tavernas shape a relaxed pause on land, offering space to slow the rhythm before returning to the water.

As the route gradually turns back toward Corfu, a final swimming stop takes place at Panorama Notos, along the island’s southern coastline — a quiet area known for its clear waters and open views. The journey concludes here, closing a day guided by sea passages, island landscapes, and a natural flow shaped by place rather than schedule.
